Something went wrong tonight. I tried to soldier on and convince myself that perhaps this was how this recipe was supposed to go… but I ended up doing damage control and dinner was just barely edible. Bummer!
I made How Sweet Eat’s Cabernet Braised Short Rib Stew. I know something must have gone wrong right off the bat, my short ribs blackened and developed a tarry crust. The recipe says reduce heat to low. I reduced it to “2”, because in the past low was just too… low. Lol. Live and learn.
This recipe cost $28.85. Quite a lot for a failure. I’m sad don’t talk to me.
